Once you have decided that you are ready to start looking for your new home, come and see us! Our Brookline Homes sales team will show you around our communities and walk you through some of our floor plan options. We have several new home communities around the Charlotte Metro including Belmont, Mount Holly, Cramerton, and Huntersville, each with their own unique and desirable features.
After selecting your future home floorplan and community, it is time to sign your contract and put down your earnest money deposit. It is very important that you bring a check with you at time of contract. At this time, you will also select any structural options that you would like to add to your house. Depending on the floorplan and stage of construction, structural options may include a screened in porch, sitting room in the master bedroom, fireplaces, gas appliances, or another option specific to the plan.
After our office receives the fully ratified contract, they will reach out to you within a few days to schedule your Design Center Appointment. We have worked hard to include standard in your house options that would be considered upgrades at many other builders. Because of this, our Design Center process is generally quick and a lot of fun.
Most design center appointments take under an hour. You will meet with one of our designers at our design center, located in our office. Appointments typically take place between 8:00am and 3:00pm, Monday through Thursday.
After you have selected your options, you will be expected to write a check for 15% of the cost of the upgrades.
