30 Days Before Closing…

Take a deep breath; you’re almost there! We’re here to make your final steps smooth and stress-free.


About 30 days before your closing, our dedicated Closing Coordinator will be in touch to get everything scheduled. This is the perfect time to finalize your mortgage, secure homeowners insurance, and start prepping for move-in day.

One Week Out...

You'll meet with your Brookline Builder for your New Home Orientation. During this guided walk-through, you’ll learn how all the systems in your home work and get helpful tips for routine maintenance. It's a great opportunity to ask questions and get fully comfortable with your new space.

Closing Day

An hour before your scheduled closing, you’ll do a final walk-through with your builder to confirm everything is complete and ready. Then, you’ll head to the closing attorney’s office to sign your documents.


If you worked with a Brookline Preferred Lender, you’ll receive your keys at closing.


If you used a different lender, keys will be available once your loan funds and the deed is recorded (usually later that day or the following morning).


Then, it’s time to go
home.
